Uses, effectiveness and mechanism of action of Naunehal

Naunehal, a blend of natural herbs, helps provide relief from indigestion and other stomach problems like constipation, flatulence, vomiting and diarrhoea in children. It is also beneficial in preventing common ailments like restless sleep, excessive salvation and thirst during teething period.

Naunehal is composed of the following active ingredients

• Zeera/ cumin: Improves digestion, boost immunity, acts as iron supplement
• Soya/ soyabean: Protein 
• Leemun Chhilka/ lemon peels: Improve bone health
• Jaifal/ nutmeg: Boost immunity, prevent from infections
• Arq Pudhina/ Aqua mint: Improves digestion, appetite, controls diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, flatulence
• Arq Badyan/ Aqua fennel: Improves digestion, relieves abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, dysentery
• Soda Khurdani/ soda bicarbonate: Reduces stomach acids and can make the urine less acidic. Improves digestion, flatulence
• Qiwam Qand/ Sugar extract: Adds taste to the medicine

Dosage and how to use Naunehal

• 1 to 3 months, 1ml(10-20 drops) twice a day
• 4 to 6 months, 2.5ml(1/2 teaspoonful) twice a day
• 7 months to 1 year, 5ml(1 teaspoonful) twice a day
• 1 year to 3 years 7.5-9.5ml(1.5 to 2 teaspoonful) twice a day
• Above 3 years, 10ml(2 teaspoonful) twice a day
